Soiled Myself

See, this is what happens when toxic waste is absorbed by plants. It’s not fun when the herbivores fight back.

Snow Thyself

This is another piece that’s going in a book that I’m currently working on. I’ve never been too fond of snow. And snowmen (IMO) rank up there with clowns in terms of potential creepiness. Luckily I live in Texas, where snowmen are on the same short list as the narwals, do-do birds, coelacanths, and unicorns.

Sketch-a-doodle

postcard-59.jpg

Over the past six months, I’ve had a lot of freelance work to do. And while I can usually just jump in and start drawing on them, it often feels too mechanical to me…like I’m a robot or something. So, I started doing these little impulsive sketches on postcards to get me warmed up and creatively going before officially starting. Over the span of half a year, I’ve managed to accumulate quite a few of these doodles. Some are pretty cool, while others are completely silly…but all of them served their purpose. I’ll be posting them in the sketch section of the site, so check them out if you get a chance. And then you too can see how much of a life I DON’T have.

Band Aid

band-aid.jpg

P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean “Puffy ” Combs…or whatever he calls himself these days, created a show called Making the Band. It’s a show that much like American Idol, does the obvious. Try to find the best singers, and mesh them together into a successful band. I of course thought it would be much cooler to have a bunch of completely different misfits with musical talents get together and try to form a group. I call that effort, Band Aid.
