I just showed my age on this title. As a kid I loved the show “Good Times.” And of course my favorite character was J.J. But that wasn’t my motivation for sketching this piece. I was actually thinking of all the times that I did stupid things with firecrackers, as a youth. I was no wild child growing up. But because I followed the rules so well, there were definitely those times where I wondered what was on the outside of the rule box. My rule box. And, I found that answer in firecrackers. Stealing? Never. Cheating? Nope. Lies? On rare occasions, but not to the parents. Firecrackers? Every chance I got!!!! In order to keep my post short, I’ll go into my firecracker mischief in a future post. I’m bound to lose some fans when that happens.
