Just came back from the Renaissance festival and I had a little of everything. There was plenty to choose from. Funnel Cakes. Crawfish. Texas sized Turkey Legs. Ale. You name it! The only thing I didn’t have was Alligator.

I’m not a girl

As a long time Texas resident, one of my favorite annual things to do is attend the rodeo. It’s mostly about the ambiance. I love everything from the bull riding to the Texas sized food portions. But the thing I enjoy most is seeing the outstanding art displays put on by kids of all ages. Elementary through high school. I’m often times amazed at the art many of these kids actually produce. It’s quite humbling for me as I realize that I was nowhere near as good as any of them, when I was their age.

I’ve done a lot of things in my life. But, fishing isn’t one of them. My friends all claim that it’s relaxing and fun. But the thought of me sitting around waiting for a fish to POSSIBLY go for the worm, just doesn’t interest me. I just feel there’s other productive things I could be doing with my time. Like watching grass grow. ![]()

Yeah, so who hasn’t been on the receiving end of someone’s dragon breath. You know, the kind that you can actually see. It just so happens that in most of my experiences, it was always the prettiest girl in class that had it. I always found myself to be both infatuated and disgusted at the same time. ![]()

So who hasn’t at some point in their lives enjoyed a good game of cops and robbers? I was always one of the fastest kids in school, so it didn’t matter which role I played…which is probably why I enjoyed it so much. If I was the robber, you could consider the loot, gone. If I was the cop, you were gonna get busted every time. Ah…the good ole’ Keystone Caper days.
