I love Juggs

juggy.jpg

The first time I ever took serious notice to Juggernaut was when Todd McFarlane introduced him in “The Amazing Spiderman.” The way he depicted Juggy was so powerful with such a menacing edge. I’ve seen several other cool versions, but none moved me like the McFarlane one.

Metalhead

I love Ironman! I love the comic. I love the figurines. And, I most definitely loved the movie! I know the story of Tony Stark being a drunken billionaire is intriguing and all, but just drawing him in uniform is satysfying enough for me. Drawing this was a personal blast.

It’s a G-G-G-G-G Ghost!

I’ve never been a fan of the Ghostrider comic, and I wasn’t a fan of the movie either. But he has got to be one of the coolest characters I’ve ever drawn. A magical motorcycle, a wiley chain with spikes, and a flaming skull! What more do you need?

Juggernaut-Lite

I have a thing for the bulky characters. Sketching them is such a pleasure for me simply because they are immediately a threat just by their size and look. Rhino to me is just a lesser version of the mighty Juggernaut. But that doesn’t make him any less fun to take on.

Frank n Beans

I was sitting back thinking about cereals I loved as a kid…and for some reason Franken Berry was the first thing that popped into my head. So of course I decided to scribble up a quick Frankenstein based on that thought. However, it’s very doubtful that I’d ask for a cereal with my version of Frank on the front. My Frank would fit better on the front of something like…Mega Insect Repellent.

Octavius

I know a lot of people associate the Green Goblin to being the main Spiderman villain, by name. And I understand why completely. I however feel for me, that it’s Doctor Octopuss. I don’t know if it’s because I read so many comics with Doc being the main foe, or if it’s because I remember him most fondly in old Spiderman cartoons. Regardless…when I think of Spidey, I think of Dr. Octopus first.

So Lexy

I had fun drawing this even though I’ve never been a huge Superman fan. I have absolutely nothing against Supes, but I have at least ten other characters I’d love to work on more. However, being the icon that he is, I respectfully thought it was necessary to do up a sketch of him.

All-American

I was reading earlier that Will Smith’s name came up as a possible lead for the upcoming Captain America movie. I like Will Smith and think that he’s a good actor, but I’m also a purist. And I don’t think he’d be a good candidate for obvious reasons.

“Tank” you

This is just some random piece I doodled up while thinking of the Darkhorse book, Tank Girl.
