As a kid, I loved wrestling so much. The numerous personalities were enough to keep me coming back week after week. Macho Man. King Kong Bundy. Jake da’ Snake. The Von Erics. Captain Lou Albana. Paul Orndoff. Terry Taylor. The Road Warriors. I could go on and on, but then it would start to become creepy.

Poor guy. What we can’t see are the glass shattering slingshot pellets headed his way, launched by rival gang, Starkist.

I’ve done several sketches over the years of certain animal types taken out of their environment and dropped into an unfamiliar one. And while it’s not an original idea, it’s always a blast for me doing them.

What kid wouldn’t feel safe hanging with his personal bodyguard that keeps all the bullies at bay…even if he is imaginary.

Kids with imaginary friends that protect them is not a new concept. In fact, it’s been done numerous times over the span of several years. This is just my shot at an age old concept.
